voila

A little update on yesterdays creations...  I found a little wood yesterday.  In our Australian bush, it is quite a different type of stroll in the 'woods' - it is our forest.  But at the bottom of the hill on my walk, there was indeed a wood, with giant oaks and loads of moss.  I was in awe and dare not disturb the trunks of these magnificent ladies.  I found myself stroking the trunks and being thankful for such beautiful creations... There were gorgeous little yellow bellied swallows fluttering by - for a brief moment I felt like Beatrix!  I will bing the kidlets and take some snaps soon to share.

  6. Dear Rach,

I'm so glad we visited the Red Hill market on Saturday and I had the opportunity to meet you and your daughter, eventhough it was brief. Now I own one of your beautiful terrarium! Having had a look at your blog I wish we got to the market earlier as the ones with people and the deer are absolutely divine. I look forward to getting more in future.

Ps: I too procrastinate from uni work, at the moment it's covering buttons!

    Kind Regards, Adeline

  7. I know this is an old post to be commenting on now - sorry - I am catching up with my Reader and working my way back through what I've missed.

Anyway - your terrariums are just the bees knees! I keep scrolling back up to have another peek.

When I was little, (circa 1970 - 72) we used to drive past a house that had a very lush, wooded garden - full of flowers and life and colour. By their driveway gates, the owner had created a little storybook world, under some shrubs and trees. Small bright statues of gnomes and fairies and people, mushrooms and little animals....it was gorgeous. I would beg my Dad to take that route so we could drive past.

I will never forget that place - it fired my imagination.

Your terrariums take me right back there and give me that same feeling of wonder.
